ELANA Eurofund
The ELANA Eurofund was estabslihed in 2002 and was one of the first mutual funds on the local market. It employes a conservative investment strategy and is fund with a low-risk profile.
ELANA Eurofund is appropriate for:
- investors looking for a higher yield than traditional bank deposits provide, but with minimum risk
- investors with savings are in BGN
- investors who would like to have access to their savings any time they want
Investment objectives:
- achieving stable continuous income with minimal risk for savings in BGN
- investing in government securities, securitized mortgage and corporate bonds of stable companies
- diversifying investments by choosing bonds with different terms and maturity dates
- actively managing the ELANA Eurofund assets in order to achieve the highest possible return
Minimum recommended term of investment
There is no minimum investment period as a legal requirement or any other formal obligation.
Invetsment in a mutual fund is not a short-term type of investment if one would like to experience the return and advantages of those products. At least one year is the recommended term of investment in order to benefit from an annual return overcoming any fluctuations of the markets.
Minimum amount of investment
The minimum required investment in the ELANA Eurofund is the price of one share, which is equal to the fund's asset value divided by the number of outstanding shares. The price of one share therefore varies depending on the price of the fund's assets.

Tax benefit
According to the Corporate Income Taxation Act (CITA) and the Natural Persons Income Taxation Act (NPITA), the income obtained from ELANA Eurofund transactions is tax free.
Visibility and control of the investment
ELANA Eurofund investments are managed by ELANA Fund management, which is licensed by the Financial Supervision Commission. ELANA Eurofund assets' are held at the Depository Bank, which is managed by Eurobank EFG Bulgaria. Essential functions of the Depository Bank are:
- safe-keeping of ELANA Eurofund assets
- control of each securities transaction related to the ELANA Eurofund
- setting the daily issue and redemption prices of ELANA Eurofund shares
