The operational programme “Environment” is one of the seven operational programmes reflecting the National Strategy 2007-2013 The strategic objective of the programme is improvement , preservation and recovery of the natural environment and development of the environmental infrastructure.

Within the specific activities eligible for financing are protection and improvement of the condition of water resources; Improvement of waste management and soil protection;Preservation of biodiversity and nature protection.

The total financial package for the implementation of OP Environment 2007 - 2013 amounts to EUR 1 800 748 085.

Who can apply:
Applicants within the tender procedures of OP Environment are Bulgarian municipalities or their associations, water supply and sewage companies.
